Quarry Investigation, Southern Maine. Mapped bedrock fractures of potential rock quarry using VLF Wadi, EM and seismic refraction surveys to locate interconnected bedrock fractures to address permitting concerns.
RCRA Corrective Action for Metal Plating Facility, Connecticut. Implemented Statement of Basis for completion of RCRA corrective action at etching/plating facility.

Former MGP Site Remediation and Redevelopment, New Hampshire. Coordinated remedial strategy implementation and multiple stakeholder negotiations for remediation and redevelopment.
Facility Decommissioning/Redevelopment, Western Vermont. Evaluated RCRA closure requirements of former battery manufacturing facility for facility reuse.
Industry vs. Municipality, Massachusetts. Served as expert witness regarding PCB contamination/source area evaluation and NCP compliance of remedial actions at former industrial site redeveloped into a school.
Manufacturing Facility Decontamination/Redevelopment, Western Massachusetts. Conducted investigation, decontamination and indoor air testing of former manufacturing facility to meet reuse specifications

Auto Recycling Facility NTCRA, Southern New Hampshire. Presented court testimony in jury trial to provide clarity on contaminants, pathways, remediation scenarios and costs associated with PCB, PAH and metals contamination.

Water resources
Snake River Plain Aquifer Study, Idaho. Performed geophysical studies to probe the basalt aquifer to evaluate potential connection of the deep flow system with a major springs area near the Snake River.
Characterization, Evaluation and Modeling of Irrigation Well Field, Central Oregon. Conducted geophysical and field studies to map the extent of the lower aquifer to develop recommendations for drilling sites. Sited, drilled and pump tested four irrigation wells at yields up to 1,000 gallons per minute (gpm) each.
Fractured Bedrock Aquifer Evaluation, Massachusetts. Completed field mapping, aerial photo interpretation and VLF surveys to locate potential well sites to replace a 75 gpm irrigation water supply. Drilled and pump tested pilot wells, and designed a treatment/distribution system.
Fractured Bedrock Aquifer Mapping, Central New Hampshire. Executed geophysical studies, coupled with field mapping, to locate a major bedrock fracture that yielded 65 gpm of flow under non-pumping conditions.
Hydrogeological Evaluation, Central Idaho. Mapped hydrostratigraphy for potential dewatering concerns in major development.
Hydrogeological Evaluation of Housing Development, Central New Hampshire. Performed field mapping and hydraulic tests to determine well interference and permit limitations.
Sustainable Water Supply Evaluations, Tanzania. Mapped stream and spring supplies, and identified development options for coffee growing cooperatives. Systems are being built in 2008.

Peer review
Commercial Site Evaluation, Southern VT. Conducted peer review of source characterization work and traditional cleanup approach suggested by others, and proposed an innovative alternative that reduced remedial costs by more than $1.2M, while substantially limiting site disruption and potential exposures of contaminants to the public.
Value Engineering of RAP, Central NH site. Performed value engineering on remedial action plan for a lead contamination site and identified improvements that reduced remedial costs by approximately $300K.
